Finish: all the tesserae forming the cheetah's outline have been hand-cut one by one and polished with a grinding wheel, but remain unfinished.

- Properties: water-repellent, smooth, easy-care surface

Each tesserae measures barely a centimetre, yet a whole world comes to life before the eye. Placed one by one, these glass particles play like pixels, fragmenting light, creating vibrations, sparkles and reflections. On this microscopic scale, the work is like a meticulous score, each note intentionally placed.

But as soon as you take a few steps back, everything changes. The gaze ceases to count dots, and the form, flow and tension of movement emerge. The cheetah's silhouette rises like a flame in space, drawn by speed, shot through with power. The brain, flattered by the optical illusion, reads in it a fluid energy, a momentum that goes beyond the realm of art to touch on instinct.

The magic of OPTIC CHEETAH lies in this seesaw between pinpoint precision and dazzling presence. It's a work that pays homage to inner speed, to the vital pulse that can be felt rising in the practice of yoga as well as in the impetus of creation. The infinitesimal becomes major, and every detail is part of a vibrant, free and immediate whole.
