• The center fin, usually larger, mainly helps with straight-line stability and prevents the board from drifting sideways when paddling. This fin provides the board's primary direction.
• The smaller side fins on the sides help with maneuverability, especially when making tight turns, and also contribute to the overall stability of the board
• The option of having a tri-fin system, i.e. with a large central fin and two smaller side fins, offers a good balance between stability and agility, making the SUP suitable for a variety of water conditions, whether for yoga on the water, simple water cruising or even small waves
• Always remember to check the condition of your fins to ensure they are securely attached and that there is no damage, as a damaged fin can significantly affect the true performance of your SUP
