DESIGN & CREATION

Each piece in the STUDIO MOSAÏQUE collection is composed by hand, tesserae by tesserae, in a spirit of patience and precision. The ceramic fragments, all square and polished, are arranged without apparent joints to create a fluid, almost organic surface. Here, the choice of a deep, vibrant blue, somewhere between indigo and turquoise, evokes the density of the underwater world, with its shimmer and mystery.

Some of the tesserae are enhanced by golden touches protected by glass, offering a changing reading according to the light of day. These precious reflections interact with the central square in real gold leaf, a luminous anchor at the heart of the painting. It evokes a birth, a pulsation, like that of a world awakening beneath the surface.

The matte black frame, with its rigid, graphic appearance, underlines the visual power of this piece while allowing its material to breathe. The painting's proportions, more compact than those of its larger brothers, give it a concentrated energy, as if an entire ocean were held in one breath.
